Katherine Nye

Katherine (Kate) Nye is a weightlifter on Team USA based out of Rochester, Michigan. After a decade in competitive gymnastics, Kate found weightlifting in 2015 through CrossFit. Since then, she has acquired multiple national championships to her name as well as a collection of American and Pan American records across 3 different weight classes. This year, Kate was named Senior Pan American Champion and Junior World Champion-and is working her way towards her goal of competing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as a 76kg lifter.
